St. Benedict the Moor believes that school is an essential institution in a child's life. The school is a form of community life conducive to the formation of desirable disposition in children- spiritual, inquiring, social, and democratic. The school must be the center of equal participation and intelligent inquiry in the form of free, cooperative activities involving the solving of problems genuinely suited to the child's interests and capabilities.
